All advantages at a glance

Flexible drawer magazine for the input and output of sample vessels

The HL-DM was specially developed to enable convenient and safe input and removal of sample vessels in automated laboratory systems. The vessels can either be placed in predefined positions in the drawer or positioned using racks.

The high flexibility of the drawer magazine allows the use of a wide variety of vessel types and shapes, including sample tubes, autosampler tubes, laboratory beakers, microwave digestion vessels and autosampler racks for different analysis devices.

Efficient handling with safety and aspiration options

The HL-DM supports operation of the system even when the drawer is fully open. Additional safety measures prevent the operating personnel from reaching into the running system and ensure safe and efficient operation.

For vessels that may emit corrosive or harmful vapors, an optional side exhaust is available. This feature ensures that vapors are minimized and safely removed directly at the source, further protecting the work environment.

Intelligent sample registration and options for unambiguous sample identification

The HL-DM enables flexible sample registration via various technologies such as HMI panels, RFID scanners, QR scanners or the PrepMaster software. In addition, the automatic assignment of sample positions can be carried out via an interface between the customer-specific LIMS (Laboratory Information and Management System) and PrepMaster.

Optional RFID read and write heads can be integrated for monitoring and identifying racks and tubes. This enables clear recording of samples, thus avoiding errors in allocation and processing.

An additional optical signaling unit with integrated color-changing lights in the bottom of the drawer provides a simple and intuitive overview of the processing status of the samples. For example, color coding can be used to indicate whether samples have not yet been processed or can already be removed.

With its versatile functions and options, the HL-DM ensures efficient, safe and transparent handling of sample containers in automated laboratory processes.

Design options:

  • Safety device for continuous system operation when the drawer is open
  • Exhaust system for drawers
  • RFID monitoring of racks
  • Optical signaling unit with color-changing lamps
