All advantages at a glance
Optimum screening efficiency
The double-deck screening machine enables the fully automatic separation of a sample into up to three different fractions. Separation steps with a sieve mesh size of 100 µm to 25 mm can be carried out. The machine is designed for a wide range of applications and allows highly efficient screening of limestone samples, sand, gravel, ore or coal, and other materials.
The screen frames are made of stainless steel, covered with wire mesh and spring-mounted on the base frame via rubber buffers. The vibration is generated by an electromagnetic motor, which is mounted under the screen as a drive unit. For optimum screening results, the vibration amplitude can be adapted to the respective material properties of the material to be screened.
Designed for fully automatic operation
The sample is fed into the feed hopper of the HP-SSM by a robot or operator and falls from there directly onto the upper screen deck. The vibratory conveyor is then switched on, which spreads the material and initiates the screening process. Depending on the specification, the machine can be configured to output one, two or all three screen fractions. The other screen fractions are discarded into the extraction system.
The individual screen fractions are discharged into a bucket, which is weighed after filling in order to carry out a fully automatic determination of the particle size distribution. The buckets can then be removed by a robot or operator for further processing.
Efficient cleaning and contamination prevention
The HP-SSM has highly efficient cleaning mechanisms. Once the sieving process is complete, the input device, sieving unit and outlet hoses are cleaned using compressed air and vacuumed at the same time. A vibrator in the area of the input hopper also ensures that any material deposits are removed.
Knocking balls are used to clean the screen decks, which reliably remove any possible plugged material. An ultrasonic device can also be used as an option, which additionally supports the removal of residual material from the screen mesh. Overall, this prevents cross-contamination of successive samples and maintains screening efficiency at an optimum level.
igh ease of maintenance and work safety
The HP-SSM is characterized by its ease of maintenance. All components are easily accessible inside the generously dimensioned frame through large machine flaps. The screen covers installed in the HP-SSM can be removed quickly and easily for inspection and maintenance purposes using the quick-release clamps. This enables inspection, manual cleaning or, if necessary, replacement of the screen deck without great effort.
When designing and selecting the installed components, we have placed the highest value on occupational safety. The installation of the sieve in a frame further reduces the already low noise level, so that comfortable operation in a laboratory is possible. The numerous extraction points minimize dust pollution.
