All advantages at a glance

Designed for the perfect level grinding

The HT 350 allows coarse and fine sample grinding without need of retooling the machine. Each of the grinding discs has its own driving motor which can be separately switched on and off. The direct drive of each disc guarantees a highly precise grinding pattern at reduced machine wear and low noise level. Both discs have the same direction of rotation supporting quick and ergonomic handling and machining of samples.

As an option, the user can choose between two different rotating speeds. Overload switches protect the motor in case of overvoltage and overload. The aperture above the disc has been optimized for a maximum of safety and operator convenience. Variants of the aperture design are available upon request.

Optimized mounting of grinding paper

The vacuum suction system of the grinding discs guarantees the solid and level fixation of the sanding paper. This allows the use of cost-effective abrasive papers without adhesives or bonding agents and avoids time-consuming removal of adhesive residues. At the same time, it improves preparation quality as there is no unevenness due to adhesive strips causing bumps. As a result, the HT 350 enables the precise and absolutely even surface grinding of samples.

As an option, the user can choose between two different rotating speeds. Overload switches protect the motor in case of overvoltage and overload.

Optimum safety and ergonomics at work

Main focus in the design of the HT 350 was optimization of machine safety and ergonomics. The motor brakes activate an immediate stop of the grinding discs in case of switching off the machine. An emergency stop button is also available for emergencies. As an option, a safety foot pedal is available preventing machine operation without the operator. The position of foot pedal is not fixed but can be changed according to the requirement of the operator. The gap distance between grinding disc and machine cover has been reduced to a minimum.

The machine height of 1000 m and the free accessibility permit ergonomic and non-tiring working. Useful accessories are magnetic and mechanical sample holder in various sizes for various sample shapes.

Efficient spark removal

The integrated powerful dedusting unit and the optimized suction slots efficiently remove sparks during the grinding process. The spark trap and easy-to-remove filters guarantee a safe and dust-free environment as well as a convenient machine operation.

The machine height of 1000 m and the free accessibility permit ergonomic non-tiring working. Useful accessories are magnetic and mechanical sample holder in various sizes for various sample shapes. Coarse parts occurring during the grinding process are collected within a drawer below the spark trap. This can be easily removed and cleaned.
