SPC Monitor Module (Option)
The SPC Monitor Module provides continuous statistical quality assurance of analytical processes using advanced Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods. Reference materials, monitor samples, and recalibration measurements are automatically evaluated against configurable SPC rules, warning limits, and intervention thresholds, enabling early detection of analytical drift, calibration issues, and systematic deviations before they affect routine sample analyses.
A key feature of the module is the automated validation of production sample results. Every production analysis can be linked directly to the corresponding reference measurements, allowing PrepMaster Analytics to verify that analytical results have been generated under validated measurement conditions. By combining continuous SPC monitoring with automated result validation and comprehensive documentation, the module ensures reliable analytical performance while supporting laboratory accreditation and compliance with ISO 17025.
Measurement Uncertainty Module (Option)
The Measurement Uncertainty Module provides comprehensive determination, management, and application of measurement uncertainty based on internationally recognized Top-Down methodologies. Using certified reference material (CRM) measurements, laboratory reproducibility, analytical bias, and certificate uncertainty, the module automatically calculates uncertainty models for different analytical methods, concentration ranges, and laboratory instruments.
The calculated uncertainty models are automatically applied during routine laboratory operation, allowing measurement uncertainty to be displayed together with every analytical result and considered during specification and limit evaluations. By automating the complete uncertainty workflow, the module significantly simplifies uncertainty management, improves transparency of analytical results, and provides a reliable foundation for laboratory accreditation, quality management systems, and ISO 17025 compliance.
