In the past half decade, fundamental changes have taken place not only on the political side, but also on the economic and technological level. The Corona pandemic seems to have reached a manageable state in most countries. On the other hand, numerous political crises have escalated, supply chains have collapsed, and the inflation rate has skyrocketed. In this complex and unsettled business environment, we face the challenge of delivering our products in time and achieving a satisfactory profit realization.

In parallel, we observe an increasing demand for automation solutions in the laboratory sector. This is due to the shortage of qualified personnel, the significant increase in wage costs, but also greater demands for accuracy and precision of laboratory results. In recent years, HERZOG has responded to the increasing technologization and automation of laboratory processes by development of new equipment and features. This applies not only to the classic business areas such as steel, non-ferrous and cement, but also to applications in the field of life sciences. We are therefore pleased to present a wide range of novel and innovative products, including the OrganicLab and ICPLab.

Another focus of our R&D is on digitization. The PrepMaster software suite has been constantly enhanced to enable the integration of all functions, processes, and data of the automation. PrepMaster Analytics automatically collects all relevant process and analysis data so that all test results are determined under traceable, validated, and calibrated conditions in accordance with ISO 17025.
