Using the Acidity Index to improve Borate Fusion
This study demonstrates the benefits of the acidity index for difficult applications in borate fusion. By calculating the optimum flux composition, the fusion quality was significantly increased. Furthermore, the optimized solubility decreases fusion duration, thus increasing sample throughput.
